Eagle and Condor
Rite of Passage to a new culture of ecological sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment at the Höllbachhof.
The prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor says, that now both birds can fly together in the same skies and a new way of living can arise: the one of respect with each others and with everything, that is.
“ The Eagle is the bird that represents cultures that have used the creativity of the mind and scientific insight to harness the wonders of technology and increase material wealth. The Condor represents more spiritually-oriented societies, those that are deeply in touch with the sacredness of the natural world and the interconnectedness of all things.”
Our Rite of Passage is divided into four weeks - spread over one year.
1. Week
Arriving in Circle Culture Letting go of the Old Culture
In Circle Culture, there is a space for everyone, Circle Culture demands maturity, respect and awareness while simultaneously supporting us in developing these qualities.
In the course of this week, we will use powerful rites of indigenous peoples to find an authentic access to our own indigenous roots and with that our inner knowing of what Circle Culture is. This also entails a confrontation with our own childish parts which are all too comfortable delegating responsibility to power figures in hierarchical structures.
2. Week
Open Your Eyes, Open Your Heart, Take a Stand
The second week of our journey is dedicated to open our eyes and to let enter the situation in the world not only in our minds but especially into our hearts. The opening will be a long version of the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium and the likewise from the Pachamama Alliance developed Change Agent Inquiry. After that we will get to know more about the message of the Achuar to enable us to share the symposium with others. This week will be completed Awakening Leadership Training. Basics as holding a space for groups are as important as developing and accessing our personal, authentic authority. Further Information about the symposium can be found on www.awakeningthedreamer.org
Inspired by the deep ecology work of Joana Macy, we seek a new, inner connection to the web of life in its entirety. We seek to reconnect to our origin and embark on the adventure of our own feeling powers in order to develop a mature, powerful and loving way of relating to the challenges of our time.
The week is completed by time spent in nature, alone, in silence. You will be prepared by, accompanied in and guided through this important part of your journey.
Celebration of the Sacred Masculine & Celebration of the Sacred Feminine
Acknowledging, celebrating and honoring the expression of Life in the form of the Sacred Masculine and of the Sacred Feminine is a practice of central significance in all indigenous cultures.
In the context of our Rite of Passage, healing our relationship with these two aspects inside and outside of us, as encountered in our parents, in society and in all of Life, is an essential turning point on our journey. Celebrated fully, authentically and guided by our own indigenous wisdom, this rite is an opportunity to make peace with ourselves and with each other, empowering us to emerge as adult Men and Women of a New Culture.
4. Week
Subtle Perception, Collective Intelligence
Indigenous Cultures have an intact access to the subtle planes of reality. Working in Dream Time, connecting to Collective Intelligence through the “Inner Net” and utilizing subtle perception are as natural a part of their way of life as the scientific understanding is of ours. In the course of this week, we develop and deepen our abilities to consciously tune into the subtle plane of realty to find a new access to nature, to one another and the Life itself. We learn basic Trance Techniques which enable us to align ourselves more clearly and to connect ourselves more deeply than ever before.
This week is also about a very concrete assessment of our life-situation. While consciously releasing the old in week one, this week is about consciously aligning ourselves with the new and about finding ways to consciously create and form our lives in the context of the New Culture in all aspects.
